This modern, open-plan 2 bedroom Penthouse apartment is on the fifth floor of this quirky new build residential building and benefits from two large balcony/terraces with great views towards town as well as down the river towards the popular, Ipswich Waterfront area. The area is well served by bars, restaurants and cafes and it’s a short walk to the main town centre area and the business district, as well as ideally located for the main transport links (train, bus and coach depots and A14).
** For stays of less than 7 nights; we only accept reservations if booked within 7 nights of the arrival date. Thank you for your understanding. **
** For families, this apartment is suitable for a maximum of 2 children over 8 years old, accompanied by 1 or 2 adults.**
The apartment has lots of natural light and is furnished to a very high level with some interesting features. It has a fully equipped kitchen including fridge/freezer, oven/hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, washer/dryer and sufficient cooking/serving equipment for your day-to-day catering.
You will be provided on arrival with a welcome pack on arrival of basics such as bread/butter, milk, cereal, eggs, beans and tea/coffee. We also provide essentials such as washing up liquid, kitchen rolls, cooking oil, salt and pepper.
The living area and dining area is open plan with a comfy sofa homely decorations and a large flat screen Smart TV has free to air terrestrial channels provided and also the facility for you to view your own streaming content. There is also a dining table and five chairs and access to one of the balconies via a sliding patio door.
The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, Smart TV and ensuite bathroom room with toilet and basin. It also has floor to ceiling windows and a sliding patio door to access one of the roof-top terraces. The second bedroom has a small (4ft) double bed and dressing table as well sliding patio door onto the second terrace.
The main family bathroom has a shower cubicle plus toilet and basin. Welcome toiletries (shampoo/shower gel) are provided.
The building has secure entry via key fob and a private lift (via key) to the fifth floor. The apartment comes with one allocated parking space in the covered secure car park. * Please note there is a 2.2m height restriction.
Ipswich is Suffolk’s County Town and due to recent and significant regeneration projects, the town is alive and bustling. It has a thriving business district, an excellent cultural and arts scene, a constantly growing food and drink offering, sports and outdoor activities galore, some spectacular coastal, rural and architectural scenery, many places of interest to visit, and not forgetting the impressive history and heritage of the area which dates back to the Anglo-Saxon times. You will not be bored visiting Suffolk!
The Waterfront area is iconic and is what makes Ipswich 'East Anglia's Waterfront Town'. This vibrant area of the town is alive with restaurants, cafes and bars; all perched on the water’s edge. A great place day and night; watch world-class dance at DanceEast, hop on an Orwell River cruise or simply soak up the atmosphere with a stroll along the quayside.
Ipswich has a great transport service network of buses, trains and taxis as well as good access to A12 / A14 arterial roads and is just one hour from both London Stansted and London Southend airports by car, and the train from London Liverpool Street.

And also thanks for the suggestions. We're of the view that the appliance controls are intuitive to use, but will make a note to cover this off for future arrivals. With regard to the single beds suggestion, we absolutely agree with you, but the size and layout of the master bedroom unfortunately doesn't allow that setup to fit, so this apartment can only be as described in the listing - 1 x king size bed and 1 x small double bed. Thanks again for your review. |
